Barclays Web sync and downloads do not work
Barclays sync stopped working for me on Saturday. What is strange, if I download manually and ask Quicken to read it, Quicken does not say no transaction but rather report error reading the downloaded file.

To clarify, when you say that Barclays sync stopped working, do you mean transactions are missing/not downloading? If that is what's happening, then it's a known issue that our teams are already working to resolve. To track the status of the issue, I recommend bookmarking the Community Alert linked below. What is the exact error you're encountering when you try to import a QFX/Web Connect file? Currently, there is a known issue with the file import also. For more details, please see this Community Alert:

I'm having the same issue. It appears other posts about this same issue have been pulled? I haven't been able to update my Barclays since 4/3/26. I assume it's related to Barclays AA Card switching to Citibank? When I download the Quicken file from Barclays, it's erroring out and cannot be read. This has been going on for almost 2 weeks. C'mon Quicken!!! You have to get this fixed!

Yes I too am having this same issue and I did a reinstall of Quicken believing this was an issue on my end. I cannot download any transactions from Barclay. Very frustrating. Please keep us updated and fix this.

I have been manually entering my transactions and just now, while downloading all my accounts, those transactions were matched.

The problem is still there with Barclays Web sync. I am on Mac - I thought the problem coincided with the 8.5.2 release. I downgraded Quicken to 8.5.1 and tried to create a new account and connect to Barclays. It downloaded transactions up to 3/6/2026, but failed to get the last month's transactions. But the balance shows correctly. super frustrating. I am going to upgrade to 8.5.2.

Yesterday I posted that I thought. the issue was fixed because they matched all my manually entered transactions. About a dozen of them.
UNFORTUNATELY, that doesn't seem to be the case. I tried it today and the download did not work nor was a cleared transaction matched. Sorry!0 -
As of today, the issue has not been fixed for me either - either downloading through Quicken or through downloading a qfx file from barclays.

As of 4/18/26 at 10:15am EST, all but (1) of my accounts downloaded into quicken.

my Barclays account will only download transactions into Quicken to the last statement date, 4/10. Disconnected and reconnected. Before it was 4/3. Now it’s got them to 4/10. Online balance shown on Quicken is accurate to today but transactions won’t download. Manual downloads say “financial institution is temporarily or permanently discontinued.”

Today I used "Barclaycard" to download and got notice at top of screen that EWC completed with date and time with balance but no transactions. I manually added missing transaction to match balance. Sent via "Help" to you this morning. Yesterday, I tried Quicken recommended "Barclay Bank Delaware" and got 2 transactions with balance but no indication that EWC completed with date and time. Sent via "Help" to you yesterday. Not sure what to use to get EWC confirmation with date and time and balance and transactions? Prior to early April, I always used "Barclaycard" with full success, when the this did not download transactions I tried using "Barclay Bank Deleware" as Quicken said "recommended". Which do we use to get EWC completed with date and time as well as balance and transactions? Guidance and help needed! This is going on way too long!

I updated today but Barclay Aadvantage would only load transactions through April 12, 2026. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I agree with others that thjis has gone on way too long!

When you say you got no indication that EWC completed with Date and Time, are you referring to the One Step Update Summary screen? What are you seeing?

I have been away for several days and made several charges on one of my Barcalys cards.
I just performed a Quicken download for all my accounts and my two Barclay cards downloaded transactions and matched those that I had enter manually.
Everything is up to date.1 -

Similar issue. My Barclaycard transactions seem to stuck at 12/31/2025. Nothing has downloaded since. No errors. Download process completes cleanly.
