How do I get the date to show in Quicken Deluxe 2017?

    I suggest you check the Windows setting for the short date format.

    Thank you for the correction!

    In that case-- @hawkje, you can drag and drop an image to your post instead, which will create a link we can click on to view the screenshot instead.

    I couldn't do a screenshot. I am 87 years old and that's my only excuse. :)

    Oh, I don't remember how I did it but I created a screenshot of my register that shows where the check number is missing. I will attach it.
