How do I get the date to show in Quicken Deluxe 2017?

The date does not show in my Quicken program.

It looks to me like you're actually missing the check number column.

Select the Columns Gear on the top-right of the register below the search-field to open the columns dropdown list and check the box for "Check #" if it is not currently checked.

In that case-- @hawkje, you can drag and drop an image to your post instead, which will create a link we can click on to view the screenshot instead.

I couldn't do a screenshot. I am 87 years old and that's my only excuse.
