Hello @llpteach,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
First-- You'll want to backup your Quicken file and save it onto an external drive (such as a USB drive or something that you can move to the new computer).
Then, on the new computer-- Once you've moved the backup file over, you'll install the Quicken software. You can download the install file by logging into our website and going to your "My Account" page. Click here to access/sign in to the "My Account" page.
Once signed in-- you'll scroll down to the section titled "Download Quicken" and click on "Download for Windows" (see screenshot below).
After it's downloaded, run the downloaded install file and follow the prompts to install the program.
Once installed-- the program should automatically open for you. You will then be able to restore the backup you previously moved over and simply follow the prompts to do so as well.
Please, make sure that once you restore the backup file and receive a prompt on where to save it-- save the restored file on your local computer hard drive. Quicken's default data file location is in this folder pathway--
Documents > Quicken
After that, you will receive several other prompts before opening and accessing your data file (signing in using your Quicken ID and password, using Mobile and Web, etc).
Hope this helps, and let us know if you have any questions!

Your New Computer is a MacBook, but you failed to post information concerning your old computer. People helping you, are just guessing at the moment. It is a MacBook or Windows?
