is multiple search criteria available on the mac version of quicken?
I'm on the latest version of quicken for mac, but don't see this, unless 'hidden' in a menu? on the community here, found this for windows tho: "I read that to suggest I should be able to find/replace where Category = xxx and Memo = yyy. I'm on version Windows Premium R45.21 (build 27.1.45.21)"

Hello @ppoole3,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Quicken for Mac does not have a find and replace feature, nor does it currently support using multiple search criteria in the way that you are describing.
That said, there is a Product Ideas section of the Community where you can add your vote to existing ideas submitted by other users or create your own Idea post.
Thank you.

There is an existing suggestion to allow more complex searching, you should add your vote to it:

Meanwhile, there are some situations where you can achieve something of a complex search. Using your example of Category = xxx and Memo = yyy, you could click All Transactions in the left sidebar, make sure the Memo field is not hidden, and do a a Search for "yyy". Then on the resulting register screen, click the Category heading so it will sort the results by Category. Scroll to find the "xxx" category, which will all be grouped together. You can click the first such transaction, then Shift-click the last, to highlight them all. Then select Transactions > Edit Transaction, and you can change the Category or Memo on all the selected transactions. But there's a big but… the mass edit/replace will only work on transactions without splits; it will not make changes on split lines. So depending on what data you're seeking to find and replace, this technique might do the trick or be of limited for no value. (You could mass replace the transactions which don't have splits in the Category field, and then you only have to manually edit the ones which do have splits.)
Or in other cases, you could do a Report for Category="xxx". The click View > Columns on the report to add the Memo column. Click on the Memo heading to sort the report by memo. In Reports, unlike Search you are seeing individual split lines, not whole transactions. But you can't mass-edit the transactions, so this approach is only useful if you know there are a relatively small number of transactions you'll need to find and change.
I'm in no way suggesting these are optimal processes! We need at least three core enhancements to Quicken Mac to improve the ability to find and edit transaction data. The Idea threads for each are linked below; please take a few seconds to click on each link and add your vote to each of these topics:
The ability to mass edit (e.g. search and replace) with split lines included. This Idea has a whopping 219 votes, and has a status of "Under Consideration". But its status has been unchanged in nearly three years.
The ability to use Memo text as a Report criterion. This Idea has 67 votes and is also marked with a status of "Under Consideration".
The ability to do complex or compound searches. This Idea has 62 votes and is also marked with a status of "Under Consideration".
