Coinbase Shows Zero Balance

When will the issue with Coinbase be corrected. It worked fine in 2023 but not in 2024. How long will it take since it has been corrupted for months.

The previous discussion about this issue was closed:

"Our teams have discovered that users will not be able to connect with their investment accounts. Due to the ongoing $0 investment account balance issue (explained below), we have blocked connections with the FI while we work on a solution.

We are aware of the issue with Coinbase downloading investment accounts with $0 balances. This is mainly occurring on Quicken for MAC using Quicken Connect.

This is happening because our OFX Screenscrape (a form of Express Web Connect/Quicken Connect) is able to successfully capture account details but unable to capture account activity. This is causing the accounts to be successfully added but showing a $0 balance with no activity. We are working with the appropriate parties so that our screenscrape is capturing all of the correct information.

This has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.

    Hello @PieMan,

As stated in the most recent update of the Community Alert, while it has been closed due to inactivity, it is still considered ongoing and continues to be investigated.

An Alert being closed does not mean the open escalation ticket has been closed and is no longer being worked on. It just means that only the Alert has been closed as hardly any users are still contacting us about it. It will still be updated again once the issue is resolved.

    Thank you!

I do not understand why an obvious issue takes so long to solve. Crypto is a part of many portfolios. Coinbase is a major entity in this space.

Well, I reached out to Coinbase in thier Discord chat here https://discord.com/channels/1220414409550336183/1220417437921443861/1292870491983450227

According to them, they don't have a contract with Quicken.

If there is no contract, then Quicken is free to fix this issue immediately.

I've been struggling with this too.
I'd love for Quicken to work with Coinbase—but it seems like a no go.
You should also keep these topics open until they are resolved. Closing them to inactivity seems suspicious and makes it difficult to log how many people want this problem fixed.
