Coinbase Shows Zero Balance

When will the issue with Coinbase be corrected. It worked fine in 2023 but not in 2024. How long will it take since it has been corrupted for months.
The previous discussion about this issue was closed:
"Our teams have discovered that users will not be able to connect with their investment accounts. Due to the ongoing $0 investment account balance issue (explained below), we have blocked connections with the FI while we work on a solution.
We are aware of the issue with Coinbase downloading investment accounts with $0 balances. This is mainly occurring on Quicken for MAC using Quicken Connect.
This is happening because our OFX Screenscrape (a form of Express Web Connect/Quicken Connect) is able to successfully capture account details but unable to capture account activity. This is causing the accounts to be successfully added but showing a $0 balance with no activity. We are working with the appropriate parties so that our screenscrape is capturing all of the correct information.
This has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.

Hello @PieMan,
As stated in the most recent update of the Community Alert, while it has been closed due to inactivity, it is still considered ongoing and continues to be investigated.
An Alert being closed does not mean the open escalation ticket has been closed and is no longer being worked on. It just means that only the Alert has been closed as hardly any users are still contacting us about it. It will still be updated again once the issue is resolved.
Thank you!

is this issue related to any of the following?

I do not understand why an obvious issue takes so long to solve. Crypto is a part of many portfolios. Coinbase is a major entity in this space.

Well, I reached out to Coinbase in thier Discord chat here https://discord.com/channels/1220414409550336183/1220417437921443861/1292870491983450227
According to them, they don't have a contract with Quicken.

I've been struggling with this too.
I'd love for Quicken to work with Coinbase—but it seems like a no go.
You should also keep these topics open until they are resolved. Closing them to inactivity seems suspicious and makes it difficult to log how many people want this problem fixed.1 -
Quicken Jasmine - any update on this?

@Quicken Anja hi, I'm also still having this issue on Quicken Mac 7.10.1 using Mac OS 15.1.1.
I have also used your Help > report a problem tool at least once, perhaps more.1 -
This has not been resolved yet and is still a MAJOR issue for most of us out there with Coinbase accounts. Can someone please resolve this ASAP as I am thinking of moving to different financial software at the beginning of 2025 if this isn't resolved by then. Thank you.

Just updated to Quicken Mac 8.0. no change. In fact, for us Start, Deluxe and Premier customers, the release notes explicitly state there are no new changes for us, but not to worry, our …"requests are top of mind"
I would like to think that means you are actively looking into resolving this issue soon. Can this be confirmed?1 -

Well, not exactly; the biggest change with version 8.0 is for Business & Personal users, but there are enhancements for Deluxe and Premier users as well.
I would like to think that means you are actively looking into resolving this issue soon.
I don't work for Quicken so I do not know any more about Coinbase than I read here, but I'd like to at least clarify that there is a difference between Quicken Mac features and connectivity issues. Quicken has a development team which designs, programs and test the Quicken Mac program, but it's very rare that issues with any specific financial institution involve program changes to Quicken Mac. Connectivity is handled by Intuit, the company Quicken contracts with to develop, maintain and update servers which connect to and download from financial institutions. When Quicken posts a message like the one quoted at the top of this thread which says "we are working with the appropriate parties", it means that Quicken reports the problem to Intuit, and Intuit needs to either develop a solution on their own or Intuit needs to contact and work with the financial institution to come up with a solution. Sometimes a financial institution is completely unresponsive; sometimes they say "we'll fix it as part of our next major software upgrade" which may be months away.
Unfortunately, none of this is transparent to us as end users; Quicken doesn't share who is (or isn't) doing what — and often may actually not know the details because Intuit is the one responsible for developing the fix.
So the programers who develop the updates to Quicken Mac are generally unaware of issues with specific financial institutions, or at least are not involved in getting those issues resolved. And if/when a fix is implemented, it is almost always implemented via Intuit's server-level changes, not an update to Quicken Mac itself.
