The struggle continues. For months after their 2024 update, we as a community could not get SCCU to play nice with Quicken. Then, maybe 3 months ago, things started working again…for maybe a month. I'm now back to square one: unable to download SCCU transactions to Quicken. It really shouldn't be this way. Has anybody had recent success or is everyone in the frustrating boat I'm in? Do I really need to move to a different financial institution?

I agree with others that we’ve experienced over eight months of multiple, poor SCCU-Q interface problems. Before release of new SCCU IT system in 3Q/24, Users had minimal transaction download delays or errors. Ever since its roll-out, a disruptive interruption with re-verification of my identity is routine. A delay of more than 3 minutes also happens before SCCU transactions usually, but not always, download. In past several weeks, "N/A" disturbingly downloads as Payee for all dividend or interest transactions. These used to be appropriately identified as Dividend or Interest so did not require added steps by User to manually correct their registers in Quicken.

Like other SCCU Members, I’ve spent many double-digit hours dealing and working around and troubleshooting these and other problems with Quicken interface since 3Q/24. That translates to months' of lost productivity by one Member let alone multiple others!

I’ll likely transfer to new financial firm if normal, reliable performance isn’t restored this month. All in all, I commiserate and thank Users for sharing your concerns, etc, about these disruptive problems. You've helped reinforce that issues are widespread.

Jeff qkn, you described persistent and unacceptable situation perfectly.

According to a Senior Level Exec at SCCU, the handshake MFA is being actively addressed with mid-May target resolution. Then Qn should login to SCCU automatically without the separate MFA step.

Along that line, here's a notice on sccu.com today:

Let's hope that cuts our 3+ minute SCCU download, too.

This morning (5/15), I wasn't prompted for a code when I did a OSU. And while I don't have scientifically timed data, OSU didn't seem to suffer from the slowness/delays before last night's system maintenance. Expected transactions downloaded just fine.

Also noticed this morning that an ATM deposit transaction had reasonable descriptive text instead of "N/A". Hooray!

Fingers crossed. Hopefully this sticks. I wonder how often we'll need to reauthenticate with a code.
