3/27/25 8-9 am EDST I got the request to update connection to Citibank. Followed the directions. The login to the credit card account keeps giving the message " problems logging in, try again later". no error #. Using Quicken Classic Deluxe Version 8.1.1 Build 801.56891.100 Mac OS 15.3.2 I logged in to the credit card account independently on Firefox using the same username and password without any difficulty.

    See the following Announcement which applies to your LL Bean Mastercard: Upcoming update for Citibank retail branded credit cards.

    There have been a fair number of posts by others with the affected Citi Retail Services cards (myself included) who are experiencing issues with authorizing/reauthorizing their cards for downloading. I have also encountered on-again/off-again issues logging into my online account. It appears that Citi is encountering some intermittent server issues with their connection method update.

    Yesterday, I received a notice to reestablish my link for my Shell card. When I did it, I had some problem with the link of the new data and my old data. I solved this with some "move" operations. I was able to update status.

    Today, I received another notice to reestablish my link for my Shell card. I was able to log in and authorize Quicken. In the same sequence, Quicken said that the connection was successful, and then not successful. Error code: FDP-105.

    I thought I had reauthorized my charge card yesterday and in fact the "new" card was in my list of accounts along with the "old" card title. Today it asked me to reauthorize again but when I try (several times over several hours) I receive a "we can't do this now, check back late" message. And when the new card data was entered yesterday into Quicken, it re-entered all the payments I had made to the card into my bank checking account, which I had to delete one by one! What a mess.

    UPDATE. I was able to reauthorize the charge card account but Quicken still indicates the account needs to be reauthorized even after restarting Quicken.

    Same issue here. I even tried to delete and reconnect the account but no success.

    Same issue here with my Citi retail Services credit cards. I was on with Quicken Support for quite a while and was finally advised that there was nothing wrong with the Quicken software but to contact Citi to see if they can resolve? I called Citi retail services, and they appear to be in the dark with no answers and bounced me back to Quicken,

    What is the latest status on the citi issues?

    This is becoming rather cumbersome to keep resetting/reauthorizing cards yet either it doesn't work or it quits working in a day or so. As I recently had to reup my subscription and any discounts or abilities to use "new subscriber" codes has been taken away this is rather troubling, been with quicken for years however the last month or so this has been an exercise in futility and extremely frustrating.
