Cannot add a "MiscExp"transaction manually to investment register
Hi
Trying to add manually a transaction to an investment register as Miscexp. I enter the transaction and click Enter/Done, but nothing happens and the transaction does not show up in the register. Tried multiple ways but no luck.
Any thoughts, what could be wrong?
Thanks.

Hello @quickra,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Which financial institution are you experiencing this with? Do you have online banking services set up? When did you first notice this issue begin to occur? Do you receive any error codes or messages?
I look forward to your response.

Hi,
this is a manual invesment register where I track my whole life type of policy. I once a year enter the final summarized transactions into the register. It basically contains 2 kind of entries.
- Buy and sell transactions for the funds in my account
- Misc. expenses to track insurance and adminstrator costs.
I had entered the data a year ago around same time. And now I am trying to enter now.
Thanks

How about showing us an image snapshot of this account register? I would like to see the complete register view (minus the Account Sidebar), including the register title, Filter line, column headings and transactions. Also type in a new transaction with all details up until the moment you are ready to enter it, so we can see what you're trying to enter.

It shouldn't be, its the question posted to Home› Quicken for Windows› Download, Add/Update Accounts (Windows) that prompted my Lounge post.
