CC-800 on most accounts

Hello All,
We know how frustrating CC-800 errors can be, and we truly appreciate your continued patience.
While this issue is commonly triggered by frequent file restores or switching between different Quicken files, we understand that’s not always the case. Please know that our team is actively working on solutions to better manage this error and minimize its effect on your experience.
Thank you!

No, this is not triggered by "frequent file restores or switching between different Quicken files"
It's being triggered by Quicken just crashing while running OSU. And yet your "team" is not at all "actively working on solutions", because nobody on your team has asked any of us to provide dumps from the application crashes (which are not provided to you when we "report a problem"). The application crash dumps would help your team identify what's actually crashing so it can be fixed.

I ended up relinking, luckily successfully. Since my back up was a few days old, I weighed which annoyance was less annoying. Luckily for me, there were only a couple of previous items that had previously been downloaded. But I do hope that I don’t have to deal with this issue for a while.

Arrrgh. This CC-800 issue occurred on 8 of my accounts (from 5 different institutions) today immediately after the automatic R63.20 upgrade. There didn't appear to be any crashes. What a pain.

Same just this morning. So tired of this crap.

100%. How is this an issue still after so many months?

The frequency of the CC-800 errors seems to have increased in the last month. I have tried all the Quicken suggestions that others have, and it has had no effect. I did not make the connection between the Quicken crashing after an update and the subsequent CC-800 errors the next day until I read this post. Quicken crashes on my Windows 11 computer about half the time. Although annoying, it has not cost me much time. I restart it, and all the downloaded transactions are there. I have 4 accounts with 2 different banks, and they have the CC-800 errors. The 5 accounts with Vanguard and Merrill have never had a CC-800 error.

I see my post on June 8th was merged with this thread. My issue seems to be more specific and related to a change in function with this specific use case:
- More than one set of credentials and accounts with a single financial institution
Two of my accounts are accessible from both of our accounts.
Two accounts are accessible to my wife only,
while about 8 others are accessible to me only. When resetting all accounts, I am no longer able to make them all function anymore. Whenever I log in with one set of credentials, as the last step in the reset, it puts the disabled flag on all the other accounts from that institution not accessible from those credentials. In the mapping screen it shows them but they are greyed out. I had never seen this behavior before recently.
As a result, I now have to live with my wife's accounts as disabled in order to allow my accounts (and joint accounts) to stay enabled.
This thread below seems to show someone else who had a similar problem. It may be a new constraint with the upgraded financial institution integration and impacts those institutions using that new integration. This may have started with me once Quicken forced me to reauthenticate with Chase. I used to have separate login credentials in the One Step but now see only one referenced. I think Quicken missed this use case in the new integration. It thinks that I am changing the credentials when I try to fix the other set of accounts when I am actually trying to add a new additional credential.
By the way, I am able to do a manual account level update from my wife's accounts individually. I just can't include them in One Step. I also get errors after every One Step update that the Chase accounts have errors and need fixing.

@DmodeMD take a look at this thread -
There seems to be several users reporting the same issue that you are experiencing with multiple credentials with one financial institution. I think your post got merged with this one because this situation can also lead to the CC-800 error.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Since the patch ( R63.20) got installed a few days back I have not had any Quicken crashes during One Step Update. Hence I have not had any CC-800 errors that I have been seeing after the next OSP run after the crash.

If it was on a credit card account, they were doing some sort of maintenance that left that account information unavailable even thru on-line banking web access.

It was and has now resolved.
Thanks.

How can I get this escalated? Quicken (Intuit) is not telling Venmo to "remember this device", so Intuit is not appearing on Venmo's trusted devices, which means I keep getting the 2FA prompt. What can be done here? This is a Quicken problem not a Venmo problem.
