Add Ability to Select Content of QXF File for Export in Quicken for Mac (58 Legacy Votes)
Add the same selection criteria options as was available for exporting to QIF format in QM2007 and QWin. Here's an example from QM2007:
(NOTE: QXF file is not to be confused with the QFX file format used for downloading data from FI/banks).
Also make sure that the Import function for QXF can handle this.(Also consider enabling support for this data format in QWin for export and import.)
This feature could incorporate this other IDEA or be a separate feature:
Add the ability to carry forward report format to Quicken Mac from other versions
Be sure to click the dark grey triangle in the yellow box below, so your vote will count (it may take a moment for your vote to register).(If the triangle is light gray, your vote has already been counted.) Your VOTES matter!

I also highly recommend that you browse through the IDEAS section of this forum and VOTE for the request of each of the missing features to be added back into Quicken for Mac....to help direct the priorities of the developers.
To do that, I suggest you read this FAQ on how to filter the IDEAS on this forum to just show the ones for the Mac version, then VOTE to your heart's content:

The following are some of the many feature requests you will find:- List of Requests for Report Types and Related Features
- Restore Transactions Downloading Acceptance and Matching workflow
- Option to Have Debits and Credits Tallied Separately for Reconciliation Process
- Add ability to track/store Prior Reconciled Statements/periods
- True multi-currency conversion support
- many requests for configuration options
Be sure to scroll down the page, as some contain lists of related features. Click on the link to EACH IDEA separately that you are interested in, then click the VOTE button at the top of EACH page that opens up respectively to increase the count and therefore its visibility to the developers.

It would be helpful to have the ability to select the output to QXF in the windows side as well.
Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Export transactions from one register and import into another..
I have an account that was converted to a trust account. I would like have only one register for these accounts. Since it was done a while ago, I don’t want to enter the transactions in the new account manually. I would like to be able to export the transactions from the old account and import them into the new account.0 -

@lablover57 If you want to vote for any idea post in this forum, go to the first post in the thread and look for the blue box under the text of the post (you may need to scroll down a little if the post it long). In that blue box is a counter, and you vote by clicking the little gray triangle under the counter; it takes a second for your vote to register, and then you'll see the count go up by one and the triangle will change from gray to black to indicate you've voted.
That all said, in the blue box up above, this idea has been marked by the developers as "Not Planned", so voting for it might not have much impact.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 1993-1 -
All it means is that a decision was made at some point. BUT that is the whole point of voting! If there is enough interest and justification, this can influence and effect a change in plan.jacobs said:

Short of calling Quicken support or leaving comments on the most current Release Notes threads, which the product manager monitors for about a week or two after each release, that the this is the best we have. :-\
