Can We Get a Running List of Problems and Fixes RE: ML and Fidelity EWC+ Transitions?
@Quicken Kristina @Quicken Jasmine
@Quicken Kathryn @Quicken Anja
Judging by the numbers of posts and comments re: the Merrill Lynch and Fidelity EWC+ transitions, we know they are both seriously problematic. @Quicken Kristina posted the below listing of known Fidelity issues in one of the threads. It would be REALLY helpful if it could be pinned to the top of the discussion group and updated periodically (daily would be great!) with the latest identified issues and fixes, along with a corresponding pinned post for ML. These are 2 major brokerage transitions, affecting a lot of Quicken users, with hard deadlines creeping up on us. The user community would appreciate some extraordinary effort in these instances and this would be a step in the right direction. I know this isn't the usual job of the Mods, but perhaps someone, anyone, can be assigned to temporarily handle this, just until we get over the hump. Hopefully, that'll be fairly soon.
Good, timely information is valuable. It'll cut down on all the duplicate postings if we have a place to check the known issues and their current statuses. I also think it'll help quell the anger, annoyance, apprehension and hot tempers.
Thanks

Here is the list of issues that are currently being investigated under CTP-13955:
Missing accounts:Investment accounts not shown in the account linking screen, preventing setup or reconnection.Incorrect share balances:Share quantities downloaded with reduced precision (e.g., 2 decimal places instead of 3), leading to inaccurate holdings and potential placeholder entries.Misclassified securities:Money Market Funds (e.g., FDRXX, FZFXX, SPAXX) are being treated inconsistently—sometimes as cash, other times as holdings, or disappearing altogether.Transaction duplication:Historical transactions redownload as new entries and fail to match existing register data, forcing manual cleanup.Account display mode changes:Investment accounts that were previously set to “Complete” tracking revert to “Simple” without user action.Incorrect transaction placeholders:Cash management accounts show erroneous transactions with incorrect labels and values, sometimes doubling balances.CDs misrepresented as stocks:Certificates of Deposit are converted to stocks with inflated share quantities and distorted prices.Net worth discrepancies:All of the above lead to incorrect account balances and distorted net worth calculations.

Add “lost ability to designate mutual fund as cash for some accounts.”

I sort of consider it different. With the “cash representation”, the security is still downloaded, but Quicken gives the user the option to either treat it as cash or as a security.

Another CD related issue for me. My CD's which historically have a value of $100 per unit are now downloading daily prices at ~$1.00 per unit.

Hello @Matt,
Thank you for letting us know you're also seeing the issue with CDs downloading at $1. I can see that issue was discussed in a couple different threads:
Our teams are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.
Are you seeing this issue with Merrill Lynch, Fidelity, or both? You mentioned it's happening with some accounts. Are there any specific account types that are impacted?
I look forward to your response!
Quicken Kristina

I don't have any Merril Lynch or Fidelity accounts. I was referring to what others have posted in other threads and based on what I have seen over the years as far as how "Cash representation" seems to be handled in Quicken.
Here is an example of one of those threads:
