Barclays Bank Accounts not downloading

Thanks, ngc1234. I just checked this discussion and saw your comment, so I figured I'd give it a try. It worked! I was able to reconnect my Barclays account to download transactions. I tried a day or two ago with no success.

I just tried … Dec 10, 2024 and get the same tired error … Care Code: FDP-163 … any specifics on what you did to make it work ngc1234?

No change for me. Connect failed with the same error. Further, downloading a .qfx file from their website also produces the same error (if you look at the file contents, it still refers to "DemoBank"). It's pretty much a moot point for me, now. This has gone on way too long. I've transferred almost all my balance out to another bank that does connect properly. I'll probably close the account later this week.

Barclay has linked and is syncing fine now. You'll need to go back to the original email (i received mine 10/31/24) and follow the prompts to set and verify a new login. I also had to reset the account. YMMV. Best.

It now works for me. I couldn't find the original email, so I added a new Barclay's account on Quicken. Quicken asked if I wanted to link that new account to my old Barclay's account on Quicken and I said yes. All is working as it should. Finally!

I created a new logon some time ago following the instructions in the original email, and have been using that to access the account on the new URL. Still receiving the same errors from Quicken: CC-502 and CC-511. Just requested that Barclays close the account, so as soon as they EFT out the small balance that's left, it'll no longer be an issue.

Works fine now. You *do* have to have followed previous instructions from their changeover email.

Notice that those having success are quicken windows users … I'm running the Mac version … I set up the new login a LONG time ago after Barclays combined their cards and online savings accounts … I've disconnected my account in quicken and tried to connect just now and get the following:

Flyfishertn - try a total new account setup and choose barclay us bank, not the Delaware one.

Ugh. Must still be something on the Mac side.

We have six accounts at Barclay's. When I re-link or add a new account for Barclays, it only shows our individual savings accounts, not the joint and not the CDs. So for people who only have one account, the download might be working but for us it isn't. I hope this gets fixed soon!

Not for me — as I said, I am running on a Mac. I did have to remake a new login to do it.

Similar to Cindy, I have two accounts (Savings and CD). I can now connect, but it only finds the Savings account. No sign of the CD, in spite of deactivating and removing the Bank and Account information from the General tab.
I'm happy to see some progress, but there is obviously still a bug.

Barclays is still screwed up but I'm getting a different error this morning … 2 months now and counting …

Same here - still getting screwed. This is ridiculous considering the price of an annual Quicken subscription. "We apologize for the inconvenience" doesn't cut it anymore.
